WILD MUSHROOM & ASPARAGUS PASTA

Mushroom, ham and asparagus go well together to turn this pasta into a tasty treat.

Ingredients

15ml oil
1 onion, chopped
125g mushrooms, halved
125ml milk
375ml water
15g margarine
1 x 125g packet Knorr Wild Mushroom, Garlic & Black Pepper Pasta
100g smoked ham, chopped (optional)
100g fresh asparagus, chopped

Method
  • Fry onions and mushrooms in oil for 5 minutes.
  • Add the milk, water and margarine in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  • Add the contents of the packet and cook on high for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in ham and asparagus and simmer for 4 - 5 minutes
  • Remove from the heat, cover and stand for 2 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.
Serves 2
