CHOCOLATE CRUNCHIES

Ingredients
125g margarine
80ml soft brown sugar
60ml syrup
690ml rolled oats
125ml desiccated coconut
175g cooking chocolate, melted
Method
  • Melt the margarine, sugar and syrup.
  • Stir in the oats and coconut.
  • Pour into a greased baking tray and press with a fork.
  • Top with the melted chocolate, spreading over with a knife.
  • Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and cut into squares.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack.
