2 tblsp melted butter
3 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 t sp vanilla essence
4 cups milk
Method
- Beat butter, egg yolks and sugar together.
- Add dry ingredients and mix.
- Stir in milk and vanilla essence.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour into 2 greased pie dishes.
- Bake at 180ºC for 40 minutes serve hot or cold
