FRUITY RED WINE SANGRIA

Ingredients

1 L red Wine
50ml triple Sec
100ml brandy
juice of 1 orange
juice of 1 lemon
1 peach, chopped
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup apple chunks
75ml sugar syrup
1 bottle club soda or 7 up
Ice cubes to serve

Method

  • Soak the peach, pineapple and apple chunks in the brandy and triple sec
  • Juice the lemon and orange into a large jug (2.5 - 3l) and add the sugar syrup.
  • Add the fruit & alcohol mixture, the red wine and top up with club soda or 7 up.
  • Refrigerate to chill.
To serve, place a few ice cubes into a red wine glass and pour the sangria over.
